Chapter 4.2

At the end of the last chapter we left off with Melanie going into labor. I was hoping she'd have triplets...lets see how many she had. This little guy here is named Bobby. He's brave and a couch potato.
Daniel is holding Aaron. He's excitable and loves the outdoors.
And that's all for the newborns. Melanie only had twins. I say only as if it was a bad thing. She does have two other children to care for in addition to the twins so she'll be busy. Heidi here is evil and gets a sick pleasure out of seeing other sims suffer. Although, she's getting along fine with her new friend. She does need minions afterall.
Daniel might be getting a bit older but he's as good a father to his twins as he is with his daughters. Although, he may not be limber enough to run around and play tag with his sons when they become kids, he can do plenty of other things with them instead.
This is the second time a Roland kid has autonomously gone to the gym after school. I really don't get it. Kids can't even increase their athletic skills yet and it's not like Heidi's athletic. Maybe Heidi couldn't stand being outdoors anymore and made a detour here to avoid the fresh air and sunlight. How can she hate the outdoors and still be a Roland!?!
Hmm, maybe she stopped at the gym because Dmitri was coming home with her after school. At first, I got all excited about her having a potential future spouse, but then he revealed he's good. Clearly, Heidi and him would not work out very well. Maybe her younger sister and him stand a better chance. She's still a toddler but not for long. Birthday madness is about to start. We have four tonight :)
First up is Aaron. You can't tell too well from his bald head but he has his daddy's hair.
Bobby quickly followed in his twins footsteps. Bobby has red hair just like his mommy. I'm glad to have one easy way to tell them a part. Phew!
I can't remember who transitioned first but it doesn't really matter. Both Heidi and Katie got a bit older too. Heidi added mooch to her list of traits (great, she's just like her dad in that aspect) and Katie added loser to hers. This is my first time playing with the mooch trait so that's cool.
Aw! I love it when toddlers watch tv...at least until I realize they could be skilling for their future endeavors. I gave the boys each make overs so they could wear their favorite color blue.
It's a good thing the family has a lot of extra simoleans laying around because Heidi rolls wants to donate to evil spirited charities every single day. The amount she wants to donate varies but she always has the want.
Katie went home with Dmitri after school. They're getting along a lot better then Heidi and him did. Then again, Katie's not evil like her sister.
Melanie has already maxed out her athletic skill but I'm trying to get her to complete the marathon runner skill challenge. She's pretty close to completing it. Supposedly, she'll live longer as a result.
So, I got tired of having a bunch of ghosts roaming around the legacy house. It was getting a bit too crowded in the evenings so I put a gate up around their head stones. Lyla's and Dexter's ghost don't seem too pleased with me. Too bad, the house is so much more peaceful at night now.
I know she's not a natural cook and that this is her first attempt at making a muffin, but Katie's a genius, how is she not smart enough to avoid burning her muffin. It's an easy bake oven for crying out loud. Cooking a muffin should be easy!
Heidi's world domination speech: "I am your leader now. Follow me and you shall not die in vain. Follow me into a large dark under ground fortress where I will control the neighborhood away from the outdoors. Follow me and hand over all your money, for you will not need it any longer. Follow me and be my evil minions! Mwhahaha!"
Aw, Aaron you look unhappy. Are you tired? Is it time for a nap?
Oh, Heidi's just stealing your candy. Poor little guy. Your oldest sister is a big meanie! For the most part Heidi is actually a huge help with her brothers but she does roll a lot of wants to steal candy from them.
Tammi, Daniel's aunt, met Vicente at school and decided to hang out with him at his house one day after school. Neither of them are that good at throwing a football but it's proven to be a good ice breaker. They both got a good laugh over the other one's throwing techniques...or rather lack of one.
Dmitri came home with Katie today. They are quickly becoming good friends. I have this gut feeling that these two will get married one day. There's nothing more exciting then childhood sweethearts!
While Aaron's off sleeping or getting his candy stolen from Heidi, Bobby's busy reading all the kid books he can. The books don't really seem to give the kids too much of a skill boost when they get older though. It's not like they have much else to do anyways so they might as well learn a few things.
After a long afternoon of tossing a football and a little flirting, Tammi felt confident enough to go in for a kiss with Vicente. Sadly, he didn't have the same idea in mind. He mockingly smiled at Tammi as she moved in and he backed off. What a jerk! I would dumped his butt right then and there.
Tammi's not one to give up though. She convinced herself that he was just having a bad day and needed a good back rub. They wouldn't share their first kiss that night but one way or another he was going to be her first kiss. She'd make sure of that.
Time flew by like it usually does in legacies and a whole new slew of birthday's came around. First up our the twins followed by Katie becoming a teen.
Aaron added daredevil to his excitable and loves the outdoor traits. Isn't he just super adorable? I heart his traits too. They sound very fun and exciting! I've never had a daredevil sim before :)
Bobby added computer whiz to his couch potato and brave traits. I'm going to pick the family trait for the boys when they become teens, not now. I didn't feel like getting up to roll a dice.
Ah, no! I don't like this trait. Katie's unflirty. I suppose it fits with her other traits though so maybe it's meant to be. That doesn't mean Dmitri and her can't have a long and happy future ahead of them. This is just a minor road block.
The next night before going to bed Aaron made sure to feed the fish he had caught in the family pond. He definitely didn't want his new friend, Tonya, to die so he listened to his dad when he said he needed to feed her a little fish food every day. Lets hope Tonya lives a long and happy life.
It took a little time but Tammi got exactly what she wanted. After a couple extra days of hanging out with Vicente he finally decided to give in and kiss her. Apparently, he rejected her the other day because she was his first kiss too and he was a bit nervous. Not sure I buy that, but at least it sounds good anyways.
While Aaron's off sleeping, Bobby is still hanging out with his new BFF, Jeffry. These two have been playing tag and telling jokes all day. It's a good thing my sims do their homework at school, otherwise Bobby would be in trouble for not getting it done already.
It was Tammi's birthday that night too. While Vicente cheered for Tammi, Heidi, of course, just laughed and laughed at her. At least Vicente didn't join her. Tammi wishes to become a star news anchor. She'll be moving out as soon as Vicente becomes a young adult.
The boys took advantage of their weekend off from school and swam in the family pool. Bobby kept asking if he could invite Jeffry over, but Aaron complained that he'd be left out and have no fun if Jeffry joined them.
Heidi might be pure evil but she can't escape her mom's mean spiritness and her drive for athleticism. As you'll see again later, Melanie has really taken to training other sims on the legacy lot all on her own. I'm glad someone can whoop Heidi's butt every now and then. She certainly needs it!
Katie is becoming quite the astrologer. She spends quite a bit a time at the telescope looking for new stars. So far she's found four and is hoping to find one more very soon.
Dmitri came home with Katie after school like he used to when they were just kids. There is still no sign of romance in the air but Katie really likes that Dmitri's a genius like her. He's about the only one interested in her star discoveries and that makes her very happy.
The next morning before school, Katie's brothers give her a hard time about Dmitri.

Aaron: "So, now that Dmitri and you are teens, is he your boyfriend?"
Bobby: "Ew, gross!"
Katie: "No, he's not my boyfriend. We're friends like we always have been."
Aaron: "I heard mom and dad talking and saying something about hormones changing that as you two get older."
Bobby: "Hormones? What's that?"
Katie: "Okay, that's enough. We can talk about this stuff when you two become teens."
Aaron: "C'mon, live dangerously! Kiss him!"
Katie: "I said that's enough. Lets talk about something else."
Melanie has joined the athletic career and is pumped about making a positive impact on the job. She warms up every morning before the car pool comes to get her. She wants to prove that she's as good as the rest of them even if she's not as young as most of them.
Yep, they're still just friends.
Oh wait, guess not. Those hormones Aaron was talking about must have taking over. There's no real surprise there though. Dmitri and Katie are really a good pair. They'll have a good life together even if it's not in the legacy house.
Daniel: "Hun, you have chicken legs. You've been working out too much."
Melanie: "What? How could you say such a thing? There's nothing wrong with my legs. Have you seen yours recently?"
Daniel: "Yes, and they're fine. I'm worried about you though. All you do every day is work out and watch what you eat."
Melanie: "That's what an athlete does."
Daniel: "I suppose, but be careful. You're losing too much weight."
Melanie: "I'm glad you're concerned but don't ever call me chicken legs!"
Oh my gosh, she does not stop. Ebony, with Lyla right behind her, have to be the meanest sims ever. Ebony seriously had like no friends other then her husband. I've never seen a sim treat other sims so poorly.
Aaron was getting sick of Bobby always talking about and wanting to hang out with Jeffry so he decided to live on the wild side. He wanted to become better friends with Jeffry then Bobby was so he could throw it in his face. Bobby wouldn't be very happy with him but that was part of the adventure.
Vicente followed Hiedi home one day after school but before he could find Tammi, Melanie got to him. She kept pushing him to lift more and more until finally Tammi intervened. Poor Vicente was nearly ready to pass out by the time Tammi rescued him.
Daniel has taken over tending the garden since he has a green thumb and is a natural gardener. He's not replacing any of the plants that die off though. A future Roland will restart the garden and grow the fruits and veggies in a more thought out way then Brent had.
Heidi: "Dad, did you know my favorite color is purple?"
Daniel: "Yes. Do I win money for knowing that?"
Heidi: "No, but do I get money for knowing your favorite color?"
Daniel: "Ha! You're just like your old dad. Always trying to scam sims out of money. I taught you well."
Daniel is slowing progressing up the music career. His LTW is to become a hit movie composer. He hasn't even hit level five yet though but his guitar skills are pretty impressive. Those two guys dancing on the right aren't though!
Daniel: "Hun, I know I gave you a hard time about losing weight, but you really do look great. I'm lucky to have such a sexy looking wife, even if you are getting a bit older."
Melanie: "Thanks, sweetie! You always know the right things to say when I'm feeling a bit down."
Daniel: "Age is just a number. You're only as old as you feel."
Melanie: "No, you can't have a birthday party. Your sisters never got one."
Aaron: "But that's why I should have one. I dare to be different from them!"
Melanie: "Well, that's too bad. You're not having one."
Aaron: "Augh! I hate you."
Melanie: "I love you too."
Despite not having a birthday party the boys grew up later that night. Aaron added dislikes children to his list of traits and Bobby added inappropriate. I must confess I was still too lazy to get up and roll a dice so I picked a trait from Eddie's original traits. I'm probably going to do that going forward since it's easier and then I can chose a trait that suits their existing personality.
