This past Monday, May 12th the Rasmuson Foundation Gallery of Alaskan Art, celebrated its grand opening event at a dual second and real life event hosted at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.
I usually check my e-mail first thing in the morning before heading off for real life work and was pleasantly surprised a few weeks back to have received one from Nebulosus Severine. She had been gracious in responding to a survey I did on the Arts in Second Life earlier this year and it was great to see her name pop up. It was an announcement that she'd been working on a new project, a collaborative gallery, "Arthole", with her friend and fellow artist Arahan Claveau and that it would be opening soon.
I attended the grand opening of India Garrigus Digital Art show at the WIN gallery on Sunday, 13th of April, where I met both the artist and gallery owner Walt Ireton.
We visited a new art exhibit the other day. Gilberto Gregg opened an exhibit unlike any I have seen before in sl!! It is modern art ,but with a twist. Everything you touch or click will do something for you.. or to you.
