YouTube Video - Christopher Dallman

Christopher Dallman shared a picture which was taken as part of the No Hate Campaign. As you can see, Chris is looking great! He is the first celebrity to be photographed with a guitar. He is getting ready to release some new music any day now, and just posted a video of him singing a song from the first CD [that I love], Race The Light. The song is Nighttime In The City, and it is a gorgeous song.

Str8 Boys Need Love Too - Jason Castro

Jason Castro was a contestant on American Idol two seasons ago, most noted for his gorgeous eyes, electric smile, dread-locked hair and 'Spicoli' personality. While I thought he oozed charm and charisma, I wasn't sure what kind of music he would make, or if he had the voice to make it. But he scored a major label contract, and has been working on an album that is due out early next year, and just released a single and a video that really surprised me. It is quite good. The song is Let's Just Fall In Love Again and thanks to my friend Rickey and his blog, I can post the video.

It is true, I really like the song, but the video is not hurt one bit the handsome singer/songwriter loses the shirt. To be fair, I liked some of his AI performances very much, so it is not entirely shocking I like this. Stylistically, this is a perfect choice for Jason, and he just nailed it. Hopefully, there is much more to look forward to once the album is released. You can find out more at his official website here.

New Video - Matt Fishel - Football Song

Finding Matt Fishel and the Football Song seemed almost random, yet I am very grateful. Somewhere along the way, I followed Matt Fishel on Twitter, and this past weekend I saw a Tweet with a link, and I clicked on it. I don't really remember how that happened, but it did. And I have to say Matt is very cute [see above]! There was this video.

Well, I watched it a couple of times, smiling and enjoying the heck out of it. The production values are pretty good for an indie venture, so I was impressed. But ultimately, it is the song itself that impressed me, for it is smart, clever and funny. I couldn't resist, and went to Fishel's MySpace page to find out a bit more, and found a link to buy some songs. I, of course, clicked on it, signed up for an account, and bought both albums by the London-based singer.

So far, I've listened to a couple of the songs and like them muchly. But once I have had a better chance to pay attention, I will let you know about them. Until then, you can find out more about Matt on his MySpace page here. His music is available at All4ArtistsDotCom. You can purchase Fishel's music here.

New Video - Noisettes - Wild Young Hearts

The Noisettes are a London-based trio preforming what has been described as indie rock, garage-punk, rock, pop-rock, and everything in between. Guitarist Dan Smith, singer/bassist Shingai Shoniwa, and drummer Jamie Morrison were quite the sensation in the UK, and recently made the trip across the ocean to start their own British Invasion. They have been hard at work, touring with TV on the Radio, Bloc Party, Muse, and Lady Gaga. They have also logged performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Wild Young Hearts (New Version)

Just last week, Noisettes released their latest album, Wild Young Hearts. I received a email about a promotion that makes it possible to buy the 10-song cd for just $5.00! Amazon is responsible, and you can download it by clicking here. Once I give it a couple of listens, I will visit Noisettes again with the review. So far, I can tell you I really love song and video for the title cut, Wild Young Hearts.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out lead singer/bassist Shingai is beautiful, and the boys adorable. Their sound is kinda Blondie meets the GoGos for the 21st Century, with infectious rhythms layered with lots of joy. You can find out more about Noisettes by checking them out on MySpace here.

New Video/Music - Telling On Trixie - ANFO

Telling On Trixie

OK, it is not so much a video as a YouTube song posting, but God, I LOVE this song! A.N.F.O. is the name of the song from the CD Ugly, Broke and Sober. The title is an anagram for ammonium nitrate/fuel oil, an explosive mixture, much like the band Telling On Trixie. The band just put up this video this weekend, and I knew I had to get it on my blog, cause it rocks! Since there is no video with this so to speak, I included above screen caps from the brilliant video for Orion's Light, from the first Telling On Trixie CD.

You can get more info on Telling On Trixie at their website, and can purchase the CD at CD Baby.
