Last night, a perfectly normal building contest ended in chaos, as a blaze broke out, engulfing several buildings.The Dreams SIM (which you can go to by clicking here), run by a lady called "The Sojourner", offers help to those looking to learn more about building, and to pick up hints and tips. As part of this, they run regular building contests, for people to show off ideas and skills they have picked up there. This month's contest involved taking houses designed by the Lindens, and trying to edit them to cut down on the Prim count, while still maintaining the look, style and shape of the building. The objective of this was to see if these were then going to be low prim enough to place on a 512m piece of land, with the prim allocation that comes with land that size, and still have enough allocation left to be able to place some furniture.Much fun was had by all, but when the contest was over, one of the houses caught fire... and then it spread.... and then the buildings started to collapse. One of the builders activated Duck powered water fire extinguishers, but to no avail. No one was harmed, but the fire still burns, with no end in sight. Hopefully the owners will have it under control in time for next month's contest.
