Last March it was big news. The virtual version of Amsterdam, very life-like rebuilt in SL and (in)famous as a pick-up place for escorts, was for sale on eBay. And not only that, it was sold for a record price of US$ 50,000 !!!Now it seems that the seller, Stroker Serpentine, and the buyer (Nedstede, a RL real estate broker from tne Netherlands) could not come to an agreement about copyrights of the unique buildings Amsterdam. Nedstede was under the assumption that they would automatically gain ownership (and the copyrights) of those buildings, so they decided to cancel the sale.So, who knows what will happen to this beautiful city? Will it be sold again? And for what price? We will be keeping track of this for you.
