Second Life : Game or not ?

Many people in Second Life refer to Second Life as being " a game".
In my opinion, a game would have targets to fullfill.
In Second Life you don't have any "targets" to fullfill , nor do you have any objectives to achieve.
So , with that in mind, basically Second Life isn't really a "game" in that point of view.
I see Second Life more as a "community" rather than to define it as a "game".
I would like to know what you think about that.
