Robots!!!

What a fun time I had over the weekend. I have been looking for new places to explore and someone gave me a landmark for Museum of Robots.
Sunday I had some time to go check it out and I hope you will go there too!

It is an amazing
collection of all sorts of Robots, some in real life photos and some that have been built in second life.
As you enter the front door you will find a wonderful exhibit of the art of Eric Joyner with accompanying audio background descriptions.
The sculpture of Clayton Bailey stands nearby also with audio explaining how he made them from bits and pieces from garage sales.
Outside you will see the entries for the 2008 robot contest.
At the far corner you will find a terrific machine that lets you select parts for your own robot avatar and then paint it!.
The museum also has a theatre dedicated to Isaac Azimov where films are shown every Friday.
There is a schedule posted on the wall. When you go have make sure you have time to see the whole museum. It is quite large and very interesting so you will have to spend time listening and looking inside and out. Kubrick 97, 160, 27
