SURVIVOR AWARD FOR RFL OF SL 2008 The criteria for this award is that the person must be a valuable contributor to survivorship in Second Life, and/or someone that has gone out of their way to support other survivors. Someone that has set an example in the way they handle their cancer in Second Life and/or Real Life. It is also about being an advocate in sharing their experiences.
LadyKay Gable - for always being ready to step up and help, for her team spirit, and for having a heart of gold.
Artistic Fimicoloud- who died on 5/26/08 but who played a busy and active role in the Survivors Group and in Relay for Life until just a few weeks before her death - for fighting her cancer with her paintbrush and crayons, and for teaching us --- how to live. She may have passed on, but her influence is still very much alive in SL.
MOST LAPS WALKED BY AN INDIVIDUAL AWARDThree people will be awarded the Most Laps Walked by an Individual Award. The criteria for this award is that the person walked the most laps during the actual 24 Relay hours, as declared on the official Relay Lap Counter.
