SL Veterans Push Back Boundaries In SL Live Music Presentation For Cancer Benefit

Ride for Relay – A live music event for Relay For Life 2008
Second Life, June 8, 2008 – Second Life Residents and long-time collaborators Spence Wilder and Nomad Rovio are today formally announcing an exciting live music presentation to benefit the ACS Relay For Life 2008 SL campaign. The event, entitled “Ride for Relay” will offer an immersive live music experience, set in the London Underground and will feature techniques not used before in Second Life live music presentation. There will be two performances of the show this coming Wednesday, 11th June at 11am and 7pm SLT/PDT that are open to all live music fans, kiosks to benefit the Relay For Life campaign will be available to accept donations, advertising/sponsorship opportunities are still available, however many have been pre-sold already

A press/VIP preview of the show will be held at 11am SLT/PDT on Tuesday 10th June, this preview is open to accredited SL/RL press and invited guests only.
Of course I had to take a sneak peak behind the scenes before the official press are allowed in in about 30 minutes from now, and wow what a build and a great concept.
Everyone will be able to see although at first glance its close quarters but as the 'buskers will be moving up and down the train no-one will miss out and even with standing room on the 'platform' it will be a great show. There are to be some new concepts in RL/SL cross over tonight but I won't spoil it for you :)
Check the RFL section for full details of what to expect and I hope to see you there.
