Architecture in SL - from Camelot to derelict factory building, without constraints of real world engineers, the totally unfeasable can stand magnificiently before us in jaw dropping splendour, and, like Hindu sand art, with one click can vanish into the ether, keeping company with my long lost Soho Sofa.I am Scarlit, I have been inworld for 2 years now and still never cease to be amazed at what I see - the artistry, imagination, sheer talent and diversity, all here to discover, all just a teleport click away
In the comming weeks I will be interviewing some of SL's top builders and the designers of some of our favourite places, giving us an insight and deeper appreciation of their work. With a veritable smorgesboard of talent to choose from, I look forward to the task ahead and it should be only a matter of time when one of your favourites is showcased here for prosperity.
From beach hut to steam punk, the skypad dwellers and Captain Kirk followers... what keeps us comming back... perhaps it's no knowing what one will discover next in this inexhaustable ever changing landscape.
