New Music - SIRPAUL - Where The Wild Things Are

SIRPAUL
SIRPAUL

I really like SIRPAUL, and not just because he is so freakin' hot. I really like his music, even though it seems to go on a constant path of evolution. Listening to him involves twists and turns, and I am kinda likin' that. Anyway, in a quick one, this afternoon SIRPAUL posted a YouTube video with a new song, Where The Wild Things Are. The video is a slide show of some hot shots of SIRPAUL, doing there thing while the song plays. It is an electro-funk/dance song. And it was a great excuse to go through his pictures again, and make me a little warm...

New Video - SIRPAUL - Swinger

SIRPAUL SIRPAUL

SIRPAUL has released a new video from the Objectified CD, called Swinger. It's an Urban/Electronic/Club style song. I love SIRPAUL's music, and think he always puts out an interesting video. According to a message on his ReverbNation site, he is now creating some music for Giorgio Armani.

Worth Another Listen - Howard Jones

Well, I might be doing some quicker hits for a day or so - the power control on my iMac went down for the count, and it is currently in the shop. So, I will have to blog from work, and I don't usually have the time for the long blogs. So, for my first one, I bring you Howard Jones and Things Can Only Get Better - and they certainly will once my 'puter comes home. I loved Howard Jones, and saw him live many times during the 80s. And if you are making fun of the hair, you obviously don't have to worry about pictures of yourself from the 80s surfacing. Notice I ain't making fun...

New Music - SIRPAUL - Objectified

SIRPAUL

I first came across SIRPAUL on LOGO, and immediately liked the song and video for Do U. First thing I noticed was 'Wow, what a hot guy.' Yes, I can be that shallow. But it was the song that really got me - the driving beat with a certain humor I enjoyed. It drove me to find out more about him, going to MySpace, YouTube, iLike, and the other usual suspects. His particular form of electronica brings a certain rock feel and swagger I really like.

SIRPAUL

His latest song is Objectified, a driving club dance number about sexual desire. The video is a Matrix-style of quick cuts, computer graphics mixed with the chained and collared SIRPAUL singing about wanting to be objectified. The speed and urgency of the song are captured perfectly in the video. It is off SIRPAUL's recently released collection, Objectified (Deluxe Edition).

Along with Do U, Addicted is another favorite of mine. It is a hot and steamy song, captured well on tape. And there is the defiantly brazen Thrust, with a video that steams up my monitor on each viewing.
