Metamorphosis brings out the best and the worst in people - this week Murders abound and suspicion has fallen on several well known people including our very own JamesT Juno.
Mr CG was seen dancing on the body of a victim and also accused of picking the pockets of the dead - local law enforcement has stated:
"When we get hold of Mr CG we will certainly be asking some questions!"
After stabbing him with a knife dancing the "Hokey Pokey" on the dagger to make sure it will never get out again. Thats CG at his worse ! If you see this notorious criminal call your local authorities or call 0800-CRIME. Armed and dangerous !

As soon as things began to rezz I realized I recognized some of the pictures I was seeing on the walls. kim was present for the openining and I asked her if she would like to do this interview..
So Pelton, you have finally lost your mind. You are now on some sort of ego-trip and started talking about yourself in your articles?I have to say to that: 'Look, I'm crazy, but 'unfortunately' I must answer that question with 'No'.No, this article is about other things starting with a 'P'. Problems it is ! Problems that exist here in Second Life. Or to give another term starting with a 'P' what this article is about...Private Investigation !
Have you heard? The Relay Raiders are planning the "To Do" event of the year_ the Clothing Fair! There's going to be plenty of shopping, music and even some live events.
This year's fair will span 4 sims; all donated by the Rezzable group, and will host 84 of SL's most exciting clothing designers. The list is long but here is another sneak peek. Nymphetamine, Vitamin C, Neko Gear, Frangipani, Kiana Dulce, StoneKeep, Fairy Grove Creations, and many many more.
Now, I did say Music…. It is with great excitement that I get to announce our big St. Patrick's Day Event. Mark your calendars now because we are bringing, LabGraal center stage.
LabGraal's Keltic sound has earned them a lead role in the European musical scene. The group springs from the inspiration of its solo vocalist Sheela Nagy, one of the clearest and most incisive voices of Keltic music, who researches into, as well as interprets, music from ancient popular folklore.
Having performed in the major Italian and European music exhibitions, LabGraal's performances are always met with lauding praise from both the critics and public alike. Preformed venue's include: the Australian tour, the keltic festival "Fest-Noz of Carnac" (Brittany), the three editions of the "Festival Celtique" of Aosta, the keltic festival "Fairylands" of Rome, the festival "Mind, Body & Spirit" of London, the European Music Festival of Rome, the Swiss exhibition "Meridemusica", the festival "Ireland in Concert" of Turin and the numerous concerts held in ancient castles, medieval towns and megalithic sites.
LabGraal has now found their way into SL, and we are honored to welcome them to celebrate St. Patrick's Day (March 17th 1pm slt ) the only way we know how... Live!
The Days are ticking down and everyone is getting ready so don't forget to mark your calendars… March 17 thru March 23. Save your Linden and get ready to shop… lets raise a lot of money for Relay for Life.
Have you ever heard of it? I am ashamed to say until recently I hadn't although I am fairly well travelled in SL this fantastic organisation is very much what I would hope SL will grow to become - a community brought together for mutual benefit;
Ok, so this might sound a bit like the title for a high school essay, but if you are preprepared to put that side for one minute it's just that I have a story I want to tell. There is a lot of talk lately about what is wrong with Second Life, and I am not saying any of that is wrong, but I just want to point out something I have found to be very good about it, apart from the usual bring the world together stuff.
iMagicLab to connect dealers with customers both online and offline Owings Mills, MD (PRWeb via PRWeb) January 28, 2008 -- iMagicLab is pleased to announce that it will launch a new Automobile Dealer Relations Center (ADRC) for the expanding inhabitants of the virtual world “SecondLife”.
On the iMagicLab island “AutoLand”, Second Life avatars can visit a new multi-brand showroom, experience custom cars and chat with up to fifty nationwide car dealers at a time about pricing, availability and service issues.
“Much like iMagicLab pioneered the usage of the Internet in car dealerships, AutoLand in Second Life will allow our 1250 automobile retailers to use this growing communication platform to further address their existing and future customers,” says Richard Keith Latman, iMagicLab’s Chief Executive Officer.
“iMagicLab is committed to extending our industry-leading Customer Relationship Management DealerCRM suite wherever and whenever necessary in order to help dealers reach their customers. Today’s announcement shows that regardless of the medium, we will lead the way and insure that our dealers will never be out of touch.”
In Second Life, iMagicLab’s AutoLand will set new standards, both visually and with regard to the ability for our dealers to reach beyond the showroom walls. iMagicLab’s car dealer clients will be able to work at AutoLand without charge and information from the online community will be seamlessly available inside the companies' real world Customer Relationship Management tools.
I just had a chance to read James Au's new book, "The Making of Second Life." It was a fun read, but like any collection of memories, it captures only a tiny slice of the events that went into making Second Life. So, I think it would be fun to make a semi-regular part of this site (Collapsing Geography) different moments from my memories of the first 7 years of Second Life.
There have been various reports of where the name Linden World came from. Sadly, that name was my fault. When I gave my signed offer letter to Philip, we met down at Accel's office in Palo Alto. One of the best parts of the early Linden offer letters is that Philip wrote them in a relatively informal style that perfectly captured his excitement about Linden. If I recall correctly, it had a wonderful phrase about how happy he was to be hiring me and that we were going to change the world. I was excited and worried, since I was walking away from what I knew -- game development -- and trying something quite new, and a bit intimidated by the whole Accel VC vibe. Philip set me at ease and introduced me to several of the Accel partners, including Jim Breyer. I handed him the paperwork that would put me on a new path and he shook my hand, saying how much fun we were going to have building this new world. I responded with "Yes, building Linden World is going to a blast." I paused. "But, let's never call it that!" Unfortunately, the name stuck in early discussions with Andrew and Frank -- and was cemented thanks to Frank's "Welcome to Linden World!" audio sample -- despite all of us agreeing that it was a horrible name. It wasn't until after Demo, the hiring of Hunter and Robin, and the move to 2nd Street that we were able to really revisit the name.
Some have called SecondLife the new adult Lego, I wonder if SL will last 50 years?
Due to problems with copyrights a lot of lego has disappeared or been closed down in SL but some can still be found. Like here at the Kids World Mall. Happy Birthday Lego I am sure you will be around for another 50 years.
At a CNN press conference Saturday, Second Life residents had a chance to meet up and coming SL/RL celebrities. Two members of the SL sensation Space Junky as well as members of their management team, were on hand to answer questions and explain the band’s vision.
The band transcends traditional stardom by bringing their shows to life in the virtual world of Second Life. Living on three different continents makes live performances impossible, so the band streams their prerecorded albums during simulated concerts that feature complex programmed equipment, pyrotechnics and lighting systems. These real life artists with a background in the recording industry sat down with CNN reporter Raveon Ireport, as well as other members of the SL media and fans to discuss the recent RL release of their third album 'Resident Alien'. The lead singer Shakti Cianci and guitarist Zaphod Rahja along with their producer Valentis LeSabre were eager to share with their audience their views of Second Life, music and life in general.

The markets breathed a cautious sigh of relief this week as they began to recover from the impact of the interest payment ban implemented Tuesday, but we ought not underestimate the damage the policy has wrought. No one running a business in SL can ever again safe from LL’s arbitrary and unpredictable policy changes and as alternatives to SL open up, expect more and more of the creative class to flock to them. Meanwhile we take a look at the lighter side of Linden Labs, looking back over some of the hilarious things they have said over the past year.
Guys, I am truly sorry to tell you that STA Travel decided to discontinue the SL project today, and will shut the island today as well. Thank you all for everything, you have been the heart of this place, and I am going to miss having all of you here more than you'd believe. This was one of the best jobs I've had, and I truly had hoped that we'd be able to continue on everything we accomplished last year. If you have any questions, IM me, I'll be at the Orientation Island while it's still open.
I read the official Linden Lab blog every day and the one thing that hit me, was that it was a particular 'slow news' week. Set aside some news about Havok4 and a new Windlight viewer, with only a couple of bug fixes, it was all boring for the common man. Even Torley "Watermelinden" Linden skipped his weekly video tutorial.
And today, on a cloudy Sunday morning, I log in and find that things aren't working again. I usually have about 200 people in my friends list. And right now? Only 1 friend (and not even online), 2 'waiting' and one Hippo (the official mascotte of Second Life).
So, again, WHAT'S GOING ON, dear Linden friends? Are you all working frantically behind the scenes to improve stability and performance? Or are you having a brainstorm week? Or are you having a celebration over the fact that Cory Linden has left LL and are you dancing on the tables overthere? Has part of LL shut down due to a flu epidemic? Have the janitors taken over the building?
Or is Phil on vacation to Guadalajara? What do you do when the boss is away?
The year 2007 and the first 2 weeks of 2008 have been very hectic for Second Life, with the introduction of bans on gambling, age play, SL banks, with the new features like Windlight, Voice, sculpted prims, open source, new alternative viewers, CSI:NY, age verification, with much turmoil amongst European Union based residents (about 40% of all active residents in SL) because of taxation, with land prices having dropped to an all-time low, with announcing future plans to link SL to other online worlds, and many other things ...
I guess we have been overwhelmed with lots of news from Linden Lab for a long time. Some good, some bad. And particularly in weeks like the last one, it almost feels like LL is keeping a low profile.
So please Linden Lab, tell us what's going on there! Finish Windlight, complete the Havok4 project, do your age verification thing correctly, get rid of all those different kinds of viewers that there are now (I have 5 different viewers installed right now, excluding On-Rez)...
And finally get to work on that stability thing !!! I want my friends back !!! :)
As we all know, SL is full of sex and nudity. Almost every club employs dancers and sometimes escorts to defray high tier costs. Sex pays! But while some venues throw it at you, The VIP Room is quite classy and tasteful.
On Feb 1st 2008 the rock band Journey will release their new Virtual Island in Second Life. A grand opening party is planned inside Second Life at the "Journey Rock Band" sim.
by: Lucy Halberd I recently interviewed a 12 year old boy(avatar) by the name of Donnie Menges and we chatted about his center for boys here in Second Life. Read more in the PEOPLE section
Some more information and backgrounds on our readers, their habits and the newspaper you are reading now. For more information or specifics feel free to email or IM me. JamesT Juno.
Teleporting into the sim, one finds oneself surrounded by caricatures of various political figures, black helicopters, A Beijing 2008 Olympic flag with "N"s circling the Olympic rings so they resemble "NO"s. Further in the distance is a punching bag with a picture of Hillary with a black eye, in front of a recreation of the White House.
I rezzed in a large circular room and saw a smallish diner on one side, bathrooms for men, women, xxzz, and robotics on two other sides and hallways leading to viewports on the fourth side. What a view!
